Chikmagalur Weekend Trip

• To organise a trek, we need at least 10-12 participants.

• If the minimum number of bookings is not met, we will offer an alternative trek or reschedule.

• Age limit: 10+.

• Karunadu Hikes shall not be responsible for any of your belongings, valuables, jewellery, etc.

• We expect every participant to be responsible for littering. Please keep every place we visit clean.

• You agree to indemnify yourself for the risks involved in the outings, varying from destination to destination.

• We have designated pick-up and drop points; make your own arrangements of transport to the desired pick-up point accordingly.

• Karunadu Hikes is not responsible if any injuries or accidents that occur during the event.

• Any client consuming alcohol, misbehaving, or causing a delay during the event will be terminated from the event without any prior warning, and no refund will be given. Such clients should arrange their own transport on the way back; Karunadu Hikes does not hold the responsibility for terminated clients.

• Littering, smoking & consumption of alcohol are banned outdoors or anytime during the trek. We will provide you with a time and place to enjoy your drinks.

• In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be canceled and, in such cases, we will try to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.

• Cancellation / Refund is done by the third party based on their policies.

• Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.

• We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the venue.

Cancellation Policy

• 0–15 days before the trip: No refund, 100% of the tour cost charged.

• ⁠15–30 days before the trip: 50% of the tour cost charged.

• ⁠Rescheduling requests must be made at least 5 days prior to and within 30 days of the original date. No requests will be accepted beyond this.

• ⁠If permits are unavailable for a trek, an alternate trek will be offered; no refund will be provided.

Refund Policy

• ⁠Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days; in case of organiser cancellation, refunds are initiated after the trip date.

• ⁠Once initiated, refunds may take 10–12 business days to reflect in the original account.

• ⁠Refunds via the website will have a 3% payment gateway fee deducted.

• ⁠Rescheduled trips are valid for up to 2 months; beyond that, the booking is not eligible for rescheduling or refund.
